Just in the "Nick" of Time

Alabama's head coach, Nick Saban, is worth every penny of the hefty salary he is earning. Alabama just defeated #3 Georgia and I think everyone is shocked. Who expected him to turn this team around so fast?
This latest victory gives Alabama their 6th consecutive win, the longest winning streak since 2005! ROLL TIDE!

Congrats to Me

I am proud (not really) to say that I am the FIRST case of the flu my doctor has seen in Arizona this season. I have always thought of myself as an over-achiever, but this is ridiculous. I went to Memphis last weekend for my friend Turtle's wedding (I will post on that later), and when I got home I started feeling icky. Started with a little cough, then came a fever, and by Thursday, I had full-blown aches and pains, and a terrible sore throat. So let this be a warning to all of you...get your flu shot! Because the flu is not fun! Poor Kevin has to leave for a trip tomorrow and has already said he feels like his throat is "scratchy". I am trying not to breathe on him and he is downing Airborne and Vitamin C like there's no tomorrow.

2 Winning Teams= 1 Happy Couple

Kevin and I want to show a little team spirit, a little hometown pride, if you will...Both of our teams are 3-0 right now!!! Alabama won yesterday against Western Kentucky and Missouri beat Nevada BIG TIME (69-17). We have both the Alabama and Missouri flags hanging outside the front of our house, and after the wins this weekend, they are flying proudly! ROLL TIDE! and GO MIZZOU!

McCain/Palin 2008!!!

Just to be clear, Kevin and I are HUGE McCain supporters. And now that Sarah Palin is on the ticket, we are even bigger fans! I LOVE this woman. I hope and pray that these two will be leading our wonderful country for the next 4 years! And if any of you are undecided or planning to vote the other way (which is the wrong way), call me so I can convince you otherwise.
