Chilly Mornings in the Desert

The weather here in Phoenix really turned last weekend. The temperature dropped into the low 70's during the day and it would get into the 50's or so at night. We actually turned off the AC and opened all of our windows...I loved it. It felt so nice, and the smell of fall was fabulous! We even slept with the windows open for a couple of nights, and Kevin and I both got pretty chilly! It was difficult getting up in the morning with it being so cold. There was one particular morning last week that was really chilly (in the 40's)...I got up to take a shower and when I came back into the bedroom, here is what I found:

So apparently, Elvis and Diesel agreed...it was CHILLY! They actually did this themselves. Elvis burrowed himself in the sheets, while Diesel stole my robe and curled up in it! I couldn't believe it...my little thin-skinned dogs couldn't handle the weather change. I guess the hot, Phoenix summers have made them completely intolerant of cold weather! Who can blame them for trying to stay warm?
