I have been awful at updating this. We did make the move to Kansas City and are now (finally) settled. We got a house in Prairie Village, KS and are loving it! It is an adorable little community with lots of charming things to offer. Kev had a hard time giving in to living on the Kansas side, but I think he is enjoying it now (although he would never admit it and will always be a Missouri boy at heart).
I started a new job. I am doing the same thing I did in Phoenix...medical sales for a hospice company, I am just working for a different company. But so far, so good. I love it. I have basically all of Kansas as my territory so needless to say, I am doing alot of driving.
Kevin turned the BIG 4-0 this week. We had a great party for him at his favorite place to eat, "The Peanut" and had an awesome turnout. We even had several people come in from out of town...they came from all over...Memphis, California, North Carolina, Philly, Indiana, and Denver! Made us feel very special and loved that so many came in town to help Kev celebrate his big day.
Kevin's dad is still in Arkansas getting cancer treatment but he is doing well. Hopefully he will come home this week and be able to stay for a couple of months. Just continue to keep him in your prayers.
Well, I think that is about it...I am trying to sum up the past couple of months in a nutshell and I think that does it. I will try to get back on track with this blog, update it regularly, and post some pics of our life here in Kansas.

Officially Missouri Residents!
Sorry it has been a while since the last post but we have been pretty busy with the move. After 2 weeks of packing, driving cross-country, unpacking, and trying to get settled, I now have time to do an update.
Missouri is WAY different from Phoenix...first of all, it's cold! Secondly, it rains here (alot!) and there is alot of greenery. I am having a little bit of a hard time adjusting, but know that once Kevin and I get our own place, things will be better. We still feel a little unsettled and I am praying that I find a job fast! I am starting to get bored!
It is nice to be around family again. If I didn't have Kevin's sister to hang out with, I probably would be batty right about now.
I miss everyone in Phoenix bunches! Our church, small group, and neighbors...we love and miss you guys! And just so everyone knows, even though we have moved our cell phone numbers are staying the same and so is this website URL...I know it says "azmcnealls" but I don't have the heart to change it.
Hope everyone is doing well and has a great Easter weekend!

4 Years and Counting!
Today, Kevin and I are celebrating our 4-year wedding anniversary. I wanted to use this opportunity to tell him what a blessing he is to me...So Kevin, if you are reading this I want to tell you "Happy Anniversary"! We have had our ups and downs but there is no one I would rather go through life's journey with...Thank you for always being my strength, support, and friend. If I have had a bad day, I can always count on coming home, seeing your smile (and sometimes getting some non-solicited advice:) and I know that things will be okay as long as I have you. You are an amazing man and husband. I appreciate the things you do for "us", you work hard to support our family, and your sense of humor never ceases to amaze me. I can't wait to see you be a father one day. Thank you for being patient with me over the last 4 years as I took time to figure out who I was...you have watched me grow up and I love you for encouraging me along the way.
We have moved from Memphis to Phoenix and now we are making the move to Kansas City! I know God has great things in store for us this year. And no matter where we live, where you are is where I want to be! I love you more than you will ever know! Happy Anniversary, Babe!

An Announcement...
No, I am not pregnant! That is the first thing people think when I say this...
But I wanted to post this on our blog for all of our family and friends...After much thought and many, many prayers, Kevin and I have made the decision to move to Kansas City, MO. Kevin is from there originally and he has lots of friends and family there. One of the biggest reasons we have made this decision is because of his dad.
Kevin's dad has been diagnosed with bone marrow cancer and while he is doing pretty well right now, we feel in our hearts that the right thing to do is to go move near him. Kevin and I have both lost parents to cancer before and regretfully, did not spend enough time with them due to other circumstances. We do not want to make the same mistake twice.
Plus, as you all know we have been trying to have a baby for quite sometime and the idea of being close to family when that happens really makes me happy! Lord knows, I will need all the help and support I can get!
We are going to miss our life in Phoenix...we have an amazing church, great small group, great house, wonderful neighbors and friends, and the list goes on and on...Not to mention, the absolute most perfect weather ever! I am very concerned that me and two of our three dogs are going to freeze in KC! I do not handle cold weather well.
Another thing is that this is all happening VERY fast...we plan on being in Kansas City by the end of March at the latest. But what can I say? When God opens a door, he opens it very wide, has it propped open, and is pretty much pushing us through it!
Please pray for us as I am a little stressed with the move, packing, job hunt, etc. But I know we will be taken care of, and following the path God has prepared. Thank you so much for your love and support! We love you all!

A Romantic Hockey Game and Barbie Bowl 2009
We are finishing up a pretty fun weekend here at the McNeall house. As my Valentine gift for Kevin I bought us tickets to a Phoenix Coyotes hockey game. For those of you who do not live in Phoenix, they are our pro-hockey team...Also, the arena they play at is on the other side of the city in Glendale, AZ...It is a solid hour from where we live so we decided to get a hotel room near the arena and have a little "romantic getaway". So, we headed to west side of the valley around 5:00 pm on Saturday. The area around the arena is so nice...it is located in an area called "Westgate" and it is only a little over a year old and there are lots of fun places to go.
We decided to go check out Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville before heading into the hockey game. After that, we went inside the arena to cheer on our Phoenix Coyotes who were playing the Calary Flames. There were so many Calgary fans there it was like a home game for them, instead of us!
We stayed for most of the game, but decided to leave about 10 minutes before it was over since we were losing 6-2!!!! We headed over to one of our favorite places, the "Yard House" and shared a Thai Chicken Pizza and some creme brulee for dessert! Not the most upscale, romantic dinner, but it was still yummy. And I thoroughly enjoyed being on a date with my hubby.
After eating, we were both pretty sleepy so headed back to our hotel for the night. This morning, we slept in and then went back over to Westgate and had a Sunday brunch with a couple of virgin Bloody Mary's. Then it was time to head back over to our side of town because we had a team to coach!!!
So, that was our weekend in a nutshell. Hope yours was great as well and you were able to spend it with the ones you love!

BARBIE BOWL 2009- "BLONDE TEAM"
Every year, our church youth group does a "Barbie Bowl" which is where a bunch of teenage girls play flag football and have a great, yet competitive, time! They do Blondes vs. Brunettes and Kevin and I were the defensive coordinators for one of the Blonde teams. I wish I had pictures of this to show...these girls were so cute, so competitive, and played their little hearts out! The really cute part was watching my hubby get all into the coaching, telling them where to go, who to defend, how to block, etc! It made me fall a little more in love with him watching him interact with the girls while also being so encouraging and building them up. Our team won the first 2 games, which meant we had to play the other blonde team for the championship. Unfortunately, we lost the championship, but we were still so proud of the way they played. We had some very talented, athletic girls on our team.
